Improving Contact Points for Tier 4 Students

Introducing a Tier 4 Contact Point Flag and updated EUCLID screens to allow presentation of contact points only.

Following the Home Office and Pennington audit in 2016, Information Services Group, in partnership with Student Services, has successfully delivered project SAC072. The project’s main deliverable was to introduce a Tier 4 Contact Point Flag and updated EUCLID screens to allow presentation of contact points only. The project was run in response to some of the issues raised such as removing census points and improving International Check-in processes. One of these issues was the need to provide both schools and future UKVI auditors a clearer, more succinct view of the contact point data without, noise from the other engagement data being input into the system.

Furthermore, there are several other deliverables as part of the project that was launched alongside it. One such deliverable was a new auditing system, to ensure ease of access for future auditors, which was presented as part of the system. The new auditing system simplifies the viewing of student specific information, such as background information and Tier 4 engagement activity, required for the Home Office’s auditing process.
