Development and Alumni Office seek enthusiastic student representatives

A flexible part-time job offering the opportunity to develop communication, marketing and teamwork skills

Are you looking for a well-paid, fun and professional part time job, something that is guaranteed to boost your CV? Then look no further! The University of Edinburgh Development and Alumni Office is looking for hard working and enthusiastic students to call our lovely alumni this Autumn and Spring!

It is a brilliant opportunity to get paid to discuss your experiences as a student in a fun working atmosphere, while listening to graduates reminisce fondly about their time in Edinburgh at the University. Ultimately you will be asking the alumni if they would be willing to make a regular donation to one of the University of Edinburgh’s fundraising priorities.

Please note: while our alumni are amazing and will talk to you for lengthy periods you must be prepared to ask them to donate and for the occasional objection to your call.

The Edinburgh Fund raises significant amounts for scholarships at the University, and other priority projects. We would expect you to be knowledgeable of this fund and the great work it does. You will be imparting this information onto the alumni you speak to, whilst also trading stories. Our alumni enjoy hearing about the changes at the University, or more often than not what has not changed!
