You will have a Cohort Lead whose role is to create a sense of community for you and other students on your course. A Cohort Lead is an academic member of staff who supports a group – or cohort - of students, usually on the same degree programme, with their studies. They create an academic community through group activities such as academic drop-ins and celebrations of key events. Your Cohort Lead will get in touch with you to introduce themselves and invite you to their first event. Engaging with them and the activities they plan will help you connect with your peers and provide academic support through your University career. Remember, your wider teaching team is also able to provide help when you need academic advice on a course or specific class. Your Cohort Lead’s contact details are available on the Studies tab on MyEd. MyEd - EASE log in required This article was published on 2024-11-12
