Women EmpowerED Wikipedia Editathon
Looking forward to International Women’s Day 2021, ISG are running another of our ever-popular Wikipedia editing events.
The Wikipedia editing event is being run in conjunction with WomenEmpowerED, an association of several student societies including AIESEC, Women in Law, Edinburgh University Women in STEM, Edinburgh University Hoppers, Edinburgh University WIB and EUWIPIR.
The event begins on 6th March and our visiting speaker will be Professor Linda Bauld. Linda is the Bruce and John Usher Professor of Public Health in the Usher Institute and cancer prevention adviser at Cancer Research UK, as well as being one of the most visible public intellectuals in our university. She will talk about representation online.
