Open Source Awards  for ISG Webteam 

Two of our colleagues from LTW have won awards from Open UK, recognising their work to promote the value off open source developments, something the University has at the heart of its development strategy

Bruce Darby & Ritwik Sharkar in LTW both won awards from Open UK (https://openuk.uk/) a not-for-profit organisation committed to develop and sustain UK leadership in Open Technology  in recognition of their ongoing efforts in promoting the value of open approaches, software and data, underlining the University's open-source strategic commitment. These awards were presented by Amanda Brock, CEO of OpenUK, as an addition to the regular annual list of the organisation's awards. Bruce has led our efforts in promoting and supporting open source in the University and is the chair of the Education panel of OpenUK. Ritwik worked  as our student Open Source Champion.
