Updated and new University policies, regulations and guidance for academic session 2019/20 for assessment, curriculum, examining and research training, conduct and student support.

Policies and regulations have implications for staff and students across the University. Schools and Colleges should take account of the changes listed below in their practice and the information they provide to students and staff.

Assessment and degree regulations

Key changes and updates to the Taught Assessment Regulations, Postgraduate Assessment Regulations for Research Degrees and the Undergraduate and Postgraduate Degree Regulations.

Curriculum, examining and research training

Updates to Board of Studies Terms of Reference, External Examiners for Taught policy, handbook for external examining of research degrees and new PhD with Integrated Study guidance.

Research students

New guidance for PhD with Integrated Study programmes and the updated Code of Practice for Supervisors and Research Students.

Conduct

Updates to the Code of Student Conduct and Academic Misconduct Investigation Procedures.
