External Examiners for Taught Programmes Policy

The policy sets out the role and responsibilities the University assigns to its Course and Programme External Examiners for undergraduate and taught postgraduate programmes.  It covers External Examiner participation in assessment, reporting and contains information on how to raise serious concerns on academic standards.  The policy also sets out the roles and responsibilities of Schools, Colleges and the University for the external examining processes.

Taught Assessment Regulations

The University's Taught Assessment Regulations set the requirements and standards for all taught assessment.  The regulations cover roles and responsibilities, conduct and marking of assessment, Boards of Examiners operation and assesment decisions.
