Bullying / Harassment

Information about where students can access advice and support regarding bullying and harassment.

The University has a zero tolerance approach to bullying and harassment.

Definitions and examples of bullying and harassment

Students may wish to talk to you about being bullied or harassed by members of the University Community (whether staff or students).  The Advice Place can offer students support with using the Complaints Handling Procedure to make a complaint about the behaviour of another student or staff member.

The student can make a named report or anonymous on the Report and Support platform, and our Intercultural & Anti-Discrimination Adviser can meet with the student either online or in person to discuss support needs and provide signposting to other services, including the Student Conduct team, Complaints team, The Advice Place, Security and the Police.
