Explore different career options, learn what you want out of a career and understand how to implement good career decisions

Through a series of articles, videos, discussions, and reflective exercises researchers will be encouraged to:

  • consider what they want out of a career
  • explore the academic career path (and other career options)
  • increase their confidence in job search and applications

The course is open to research students and early career research staff at any institution in the UK and beyond, offering the opportunity to learn from other researchers. It was developed by experienced careers professionals from the Universities of Edinburgh, Glasgow, and Sheffield.
