Student Panel

The Student Panel provides schools and departments across the University with a sounding board for ideas to improve the student experience.

Why use the Student Panel?

The Student Panel is a direct way of asking our students what’s good about the student experience and what could be improved. Students register to be part of the Panel, and often have a passion for shaping the student experience for fellow and future students.

Members of the Panel can be asked to be involved in a mixture of activities, which are set by staff who require feedback or insight. The process of using the Student Panel is quick and easy, as all activities are organised by Student Data and Surveys.

Activities can take various forms such as focus groups, reviews, workshops or short surveys.

The Panel aims to have a student membership that is broadly representative of the overall student population. All of the Student Panel tasks are voluntary, and they can also be directed to specific types of students depending on the subject matter.

Apply to use the Student Panel?

Please note: Incentives (for example Amazon or Blackwell’s vouchers) that can be offered to students who take part in a task will come from your departmental budget.
