In the second of our exclusive podcasts, we tell the story of  how the University of Edinburgh, the City of Edinburgh Council and Cramond Heritage Trust collaborated on a unique project using forensic techniques to re-create the face of 19th century Edinburgh murderer John Howison.

The life-like profile of Howison is exhibited next to a replica of his skull in a free display  at Cramond’s Maltings Interpretation Centre until the end of September.
