▢ | International Check-In for non-UK/Irish nationals The University of Edinburgh has a legal obligation to make sure that all non- UK/Irish passport holders have suitable immigration permission to study in the UK. Once you arrive in the UK, you will need to provide evidence of your immigration permission before you commence your studies. The type of evidence and the process for sharing will depend on what type of permission you hold. How to complete International Check-in Once these checks are finished, you have completed this step. You will not be fully matriculated if you do not complete international check-in. ▢ | If you have a BRP to collect you will do this at International Check in. You must make an appointment to do this: Book Welcome Week Check in If you chose to collect your BRP at the Post Office you should go there to collect it. No appointment is necessary for this and your collection location will be stated on your decision letter. However, you must provide a copy of your new BRP to the University and you should bring your new BRP to Old College as soon as possible after you have collected it from the Post Office. Your matriculation will not be fully complete until you have completed this step. |
