Your timetable

Every student has a personalised timetable that can be viewed via your Office 365 account or on MyEd ‘Timetabler’ channel. 

We recommend that you use the MyEd ‘Timetabler’ to view your timetable as sometimes classes need to change time or location quite suddenly and the timetable view on MyEd will show instant changes.  

You can view your timetable on your mobile device too by downloading the Office 365 app. 

You will see your compulsory/mandatory teaching activities (e.g. lectures you must attend as part of your programme) about 4 weeks before classes start. If you can’t see anything in your calendar by Welcome Week, you should check with your School.  

Any teaching activity that is part of an optional course will only show after you have confirmed your course choices with your School, and they have enrolled you. You will be able to check your enrolment on your student record. Once you have been enrolled on a course, your timetable will be updated within a day.  

Any teaching activity that has multiple time options, such as smaller tutorial/lab groups, will only be added to your personalised calendar after you have confirmed this with your School and then can take a few weeks to populate into the calendar.  

You can plan what your timetable could look like ahead of confirming it with your School in Welcome Week. There are helpful tools to help you simulate what classes could be available and fit together.

Unfortunately, neither of these tools allows you to consider the location of classes and the potential distances between them. For example, it would not be possible to attend a class at King's Buildings campus straight after a class at Central campus.
