All new taught students are encouraged to complete their Making Transitions Personal pre-arrival review to help you and us prepare for the coming year to make it the best it can be. The pre-arrival review is open to Taught students only. What you need to do Before you start your studies, you will be sent an email with a link to complete your Making Transitions Personal pre-arrival review. This email will be sent from your school to your University email address only. Why you need to do it Starting university and having new experiences can feel exciting, challenging, and occasionally daunting. You may have many thoughts and feelings about what you want to get from the year ahead at university. You will be asked to complete seven questions in your pre-arrival review, this should take around 10-15 minutes to complete. These questions will give you a chance to reflect and share your thoughts with staff at the University who support your development throughout the university. When you do it The pre-arrival review will be open from Tuesday, 19th August, and close on Friday, 19th September. How you do it Click on the link in your email and add your reflections. Your responses will be added to your student record for you to look back on and the University uses anonymised data from the reviews to identify ways we can support our students.
