Earlier this month alumni attended Careers Masterclasses in Brussels and Paris presented by David Levinson, the University’s International Careers Advisor.
‘Career and Life Planning in Challenging Times’ encouraged alumni to take a step back and think about where they are and where they want to go in their careers.
David’s talk also provided interesting insights into making the most of social media and included practical tips and advice on networking and relationship building.
Building new networks
Following the talks in both cities, alumni had the opportunity to put their networking skills into action at drink receptions where they had the chance to catch up with old friends, meet representatives from the University and make some new contacts.
