The February 2013 Half-Yearly Meeting of the General Council of the University of Edinburgh will take place in the the School of Law, University of Edinburgh, on Saturday 9 February 2013 from 10.30am to 12.30pm GMT.

Professor Charles Swainson, Convener of the General Council's Business Committee, will give his Report to members of the General Council and this is also an opportunity to hear the Principal present the University's Annual Review for 2011-2012.

Reception

We will be holding our usual Reception and Lunch after the meeting in the Playfair Library and are looking forward to hearing from our after-Lunch speaker, Professor Stuart Haszeldine, the world’s first Professor of Carbon Capture and Storage.
