Professor Wardlaw awarded CBE
Professor Joanna Wardlaw, has been awarded by the Commanders of the Order of the British Empire, a CBE in the Queen’s Birthday Honours in recognition for her services to neuroimaging and clinical science.
She joins two other female professors from the University of Edinburgh in the Queen's Honours List, which is wonderful news for woman looking to enter into a career in medicine or science.
I am delighted to have been awarded a CBE, in recognition of the excellent work in neuroimaging and clinical science our Edinburgh teams have achieved, and I am grateful to have worked with and to continue to with fantastic colleagues.
