This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Clinical Project Manager (038403).

This role will coordinate and manage designated clinical trials utilising the Edinburgh Imaging facilities, with a focus on trials delivered in collaboration with the Centre for Dementia Prevention (CDP) and specifically the AMYPAD project.

The post will look after trials designated on the basis of size and impact (e.g. focusing on large patient numbers/multi centre/high financial return/high impact trials), many of which will have commercial sources of funding (single companies or large collaborative groups including commercial organisations).

The post will be responsible for pre-study setup, study initiation, ongoing project management and then study close out, i.e. manage the entire life-cycle of clinical imaging trials.

The post is based within the Edinburgh Imaging management and administration team; the post holder will develop strong links with every part of the imaging infrastructure to deliver trials efficiently and to required timescales.

The role requires preparation of trial related documentation and organising governance submissions to achieve the full set of approvals needed to commence work. Once studies are approved, the role then retains responsibility for ensuring study milestones and overall objectives are achieved. The post holder will also be an active part of the overall management and administration team of Edinburgh Imaging, helping to grow and strengthen the group from within through creation of clear working practises and SOPs as required.
