Undergraduate entry requirements for applicants from Bangladesh.

Applicants with the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma or A-Levels can be considered for admission to Undergraduate degree programmes at the University of Edinburgh. Applicants to Medicine will only be considered if they have completed A levels or the IB.

Holders of the Intermediate/Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSC) or Polytechnic Diplomas will not normally be considered for direct entry to Undergraduate study at the University of Edinburgh. For exceptions to this with regards to applications to the College of Science and Engineering, please see below.

College of Science and Engineering

The College of Science and Engineering accepts some secondary school qualifications from certain countries that they are able to consider plus the completion of internal admissions tests.

On applying to a programme in the College of Science and Engineering with the following secondary school qualification, internal admissions tests will be sent to you in order gain a better understanding of your capabilities in your preferred study area.

Applicants with an overall average of A/60-69%/GPA 3.5 in the Higher School Certificate, including required subjects, will be considered for entry on successful completion of internal admissions tests. Suitable English Language certificate required.
