Undergraduate entry requirements for students from Zimbabwe.
The guidance on these pages is specifically for applicants in Zimbabwe.
Students from Zimbabwe are admitted to the University of Edinburgh with a range of qualifications: GCE A Levels, the IB, Standardised Tests (SAT, ACT or AP) and other recognised regional systems.
Applicants with the Zimbabwean GCE Advanced Level will often be considered for direct entry. In addition, all applicants are required to demonstrate proficiency in English language.

Further guidance on academic entry requirements
The Zimbabwe GCE A Level is considered on a grade for grade basis with GCE A Levels, for which entry requirements are listed on each degree programme page.
Each course may have further specific entry requirements. All applicants must meet these requirements.
Staff in the Admissions Offices will be able to provide further guidance.
English Language requirements
All applicants are required to demonstrate a level of English language competency, regardless of their nationality or country of residence. These requirements are listed by programme.
A Zimbabwe GCE O Level in English at Grade C is usually considered as having met our English language requirements.
