What health insurance do I need?

You are strongly advised that you have comprehensive travel health insurance inplace before you travel as most countries do not have any reciprocal health agreement with the UK. Please note that personal health travel insurance policies may not cover you for work related travel and you should check with the University Insurance Office to ensure you have adequate cover.

University Insurance policy

The University's travel insurance gives each staff member insured unlimited medical expenses (including evacuation and repatriation).

Staff must ensure they have taken out this insurance before they travel.
