Emergencies

Information which may be helpful in an emergency situation.

Emergency help

Most business trips abroad pass without any kind of incident. However, it is important to remember that outside the UK:

  • You are less likely to be familiar with local conditions and the legal framework
  • There may be language barriers
  • You may be more exposed to a wide variety of risk and threats, such as crime and fraud and the support which you could freely get in the UK may not be available or may be very expensive

Useful telephone number

With that in mind, please ensure you have followed the advice and guidance given in the other sections of this website as well as followed all local policies and rules.

However, if anything does go wrong, some important phone numbers are;

020 7008 1500 (+44 20 7008 1500 from abroad) (24 hrs)
