Hospitality volunteers wanted
Alumni volunteers are needed to help international students settle into University life.
The University of Edinburgh International Office’s Hospitality Scheme is expanding and hopes to recruit as many volunteers as possible.
The Hospitality Scheme matches international students with hosts from Edinburgh and the surrounding area to help them learn more about Scotland and enhance their experience of studying abroad.
Volunteer hosts can offer a level of commitment that suits them, from offering to meet for coffee once or twice through to providing hospitality over the Christmas closure period.
Alumni of the University make especially good hosts as they can provide an extra dimension and insight into being a student in the city and making the most out of the opportunities and options available.
