There are four teams managed by two Area Contract Services Managers who oversee a customer focused delivery of maintenance via contractors and other specialist service providers.
The Contract Services team focus on more complex maintenance repairs - up to the value of £50k. All works reasonably beyond this threshold and under £1m will be delivered by the Small Projects and Minor Works team. All work requests will be managed via the Estates Helpdesk so they’re trackable and measurable.
There are four teams aligned to Colleges and Support Groups rather than geography to ensure we provide a customer focused planned and reactive service taking account of existing relationships:
- Accommodation, Catering & Events Contract Services Team, Corporate Services Group
- College of Arts, Humanities & Social Sciences, Information Services Group, The University Secretary's Group (Central Area)
- College of Science & Engineering
- College of Medicine & Veterinary Medicine
