Building Services

The Building Services Group is made up of a team of controls engineers, building surveyors, mechanical and electrical engineers.

The team have responsibility for operating and maintaining five energy centres across the estate along with the following activities: 

• Asset Management and records, life cycle and replacement programmes

• Infrastructure and development

• Long term/strategic maintenance planning

• Building Energy Management Systems

• Compliance (standards and programmes)

• Service Maintenance contracts

• Incident investigation

• Root cause analysis and resolution

• Infrastructure risk management – operational and statutory

• Backlog and planned maintenance

• Condition surveys, Insurance inspections, hand-over oversight

The team also creates Design Guides and Technical Standards.
