Edinburgh: Extraordinary futures await.

Representation

The views of postgraduate students are represented on both school and university committees.

Student groups

Edinburgh University Students' Association (EUSA) has a number of student groups that provide a sense of community, offer support and form a base for campaigning.

EUSA’s postgraduate student group provides a forum for the discussion of postgraduate issues.

It also represents postgraduates and the issues that concern them within the Students’ Association and to the University.

Peer learning and support

School committees

Taught postgraduates are represented on staff-student liaison committees within each School.

Class representatives are normally elected in the first few weeks of semester one. They ensure that students' views on academic matters are heard.

In addition, there are also School postgraduate studies committees, which should include representation from taught and research postgraduate students.
