Many congratulations to Sophie on this significant achievement.

Sophie did her PhD research in the labs of Prof Anna Williams and Prof Charles ffrench Constant at the Centre for Regenerative Medicine, studying cerebral small vessel disease (cSVD). During her PhD, Sophie worked on understanding the blood–brain barrier and white matter changes in cSVD, as this may lead to potential new targets for therapies.
