Tissue Repair student Chris Mapperley passes PhD viva voce

Many congratulations to Chris on this fantastic achievement.

Chris carried out his PhD research in the labs of Prof Kamil Kranc and Prof Donal O'Carroll at the Centre for Regenerative Medicine.

During his PhD, Chris explored how novel pathways, in the epitranscriptome, control haematopoietic stem cells and leukaemia. Working in multidisciplinary teams, his aim was to discover methods to improve haematopoietic stem cell transplantation or novel treatments for leukaemia.
