Many congratulations to Stephen on this significant achievement.

Stephen completed his PhD research in the lab of Dr Tilo Kunath at the MRC Centre for Regenerative Medicine. Stephen worked on Parkinson’s disease, a progressive neurodegenerative condition that affects millions of people world-wide.

Stephen's research fosussed on understanding the role of the protein alpha-synuclein in the degeneration of neurons in Parkinson’s disease.
