The University of Cagliari appoints Dr Mirko Canevaro as a Visiting Professor in Greek History
The School is delighted to announce that the University of Cagliari has appointed Dr Mirko Canevaro as a Visiting Professor in Greek History. He will begin his work there in the Spring of 2017. (Published 18 July 2016)
The School of History, Classics and Archaeology is delighted to announce that Dr Mirko Canevaro has been appointed as a Visiting Professor in Greek History at the University of Cagliari in the spring of 2017.
Dr Canevaro will present a series of lectures on ancient theories of institutional change. He is also responsible for organising a conference on Aristotle as a historian of political institutions.
Dr Canevaro, Chancellor's Fellow in Greek History, is currently completing a monograph on the development of legislative practices in Athens, and the underlying ideologies that shaped them.
