Dr Mirko Canevaro wins Chancellor’s Award

The School of History, Classics and Archaeology sends warmest congratulations to Dr Mirko Canevaro, Reader in Classics, who received his award as part of the latest Chancellor’s Awards which honour early-career colleagues who demonstrate great potential.

Dr Canevaro was recognised for his remarkable body of work produced so far, and the external recognition achieved in the field of Ancient Greek and, in particular, Athenian law-making.

‘It is a great honour to receive this award,said Dr Canevaro. I feel that it doesn’t just recognise the impact of my research, but also the wonderful research community that has encouraged me and invested in my work ever since I arrived in Edinburgh in 2013. I want to express my most heartfelt gratitude to all my colleagues in Classics, and to all those in the university that have supported me.’
