School’s global standing: QS World University Rankings

All three subject areas within the School have been announced as being in the QS World University top 50 rankings for those areas. (Published 15 March, 2018)

The School of History, Classics and Archaeology’s global standing as a leading centre for the study of the human past was confirmed recently by the QS World University Rankings by Subject 2018. All three disciplines were in the world’s top 50, with History ranked as number 17 in the world, Archaeology ranked as 32 and Classics as 40.  This is the third year in a row that both History and Archaeology have climbed up the world rankings (2018 is the first year that Classics was included.)
