Name our gritters!
The Landscape team, within the Estates Department, is looking for help in naming the two gritting units used across the University estate.
Scotland is renowned for having the best named gritters, some of the favourites include 'Sir Andy Flurry', 'Chilly Connolly' and 'For Your Ice Only'.
Our Landscape Team, have been inspired by the names thought up by the Scottish public and are asking the University of Edinburgh community to help name two gritting units.

The winning names will be chosen by the Landscape Team and will be on display later in the year.
