Congratulations Dr. Bengtsson

Rebecca Bengtsson passed her PhD viva

Another special occasion for the LBEP group! Rebecca Bengtsson successfully passed her viva on December 13, in which she defended her PhD thesis entitled "Population and functional genomic analysis of Lawsonia intracellularis". Her internal examiner was Gaving Paterson (R(D)SVS) and her external examiner was David GE Smith(Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh). She has been supervised by Ross Fitzgerald and Tahar Ait-Ali. Well done Rebecca!

She will move on to a post-doctoral position in Kate Baker's lab in the University of Liverpool. Good luck!
