Fiona Sargison passed her PhD viva
Huge congratulations to Fiona Sargison who successfully passed her PhD viva on Tuesday 1st November, in which she defended her PhD thesis entitled: “Investigation of the molecular pathogenesis of the multi-host bacterial pathogen Staphylococcus aureus”. Her internal examiner was Dr Tim Connelly and her external examiner Prof. Tracey Palmer (Newcastle University).
Well done Fiona and we wish you all the best in your new position at the University of Oxford in Prof. Stephan Uphoff's laboratory using single molecule tracking to look at bacterial stress responses upon exposure within immune cells.
