Ming Empire collaboration with National Museum
Chancellor's Fellow, Dr Stephen McDowall, has been working closely with the National Museum Scotland in connection with their major summer exhibition, Ming: The Golden Empire. (Published 18 July 2014)
On Friday 22 August, Dr McDowall will be speaking, as part of the Edinburgh Festival, at the 'Museum After Hours' evening. On Saturday 4 October he will be hosting the 'Saturday Showcase' session on the exhibition.
As part of this collaboration, Dr McDowall is also teaching a University of Edinburgh Open Studies course, 'Ming China and its Material Legacy' which is already fully subscribed.
