Book tribute to Dr Wormald
A collection of essays in honour of Dr Jenny Wormald has recently been published by Edinburgh University Press. (Published 21 July 2014)
Dr Jenny Wormald, an Honorary Fellow with the School, has made many distinguished contributions to historical scholarship; she was recently co-editor (with Profesor Tom Devine) of The Oxford Handbook of Modern Scottish History (Oxford: Oxford University Press, 2012).
The new book, edited by Edinburgh colleagues Steve Boardman and Julian Goodare, is entitled Kings, Lords and Men in Scotland and Britain,1300-1625: Essays in Honour of Jenny Wormald (Edinburgh: Edinburgh University Press, 2014).
The book contains essays by leading scholars on kingship and lordship in late medieval and early modern Scotland and Britain.
