Italian Scottish women blog feature
Dr Wendy Ugolini, Lecturer in British History, has recently written a blog for History Scotland online about her research on anti-Italianism during the Second World War. (Published 27 November 2014)
The blog, which focuses on the experiences of Italian Scottish women on the home front, draws upon research published in Dr Ugolini's book Experiencing War as the 'Enemy Other'. Italian Scottish Experience in World War Two (Manchester University Press, 2011).
