Professor Tom Devine talks about Scotland past and present in a new documentary looking at the nation in the year of the independence referendum.
Prof Tom Devine has recently completed filming a key part in an hour long documentary on Scotland, made by the award-winning Spanish company JWP Productions.
The title of the film is a direct reference to George Orwell's classic 'Homage to Catalonia' and is intended for international distribution.
It views the past and present of Scotland in part through Professor Devine's own life and his interpretation of Scottish history and the contemporary condition of the nation in the year of the referendum on independence.
