World Antibiotic Awareness Week 2022 - Edinburgh AMR Showcase
To mark World Antibiotic Awareness Week 2022, on 21 November 2022 the Edinburgh AMR Forum is hosting the AMR showcase.
This event will highlight work across the University and our partner institutions, that addresses the global challenge of antimicrobial resistance, and will be an opportunity to hear about ground-breaking research and to meet with representatives from companies active in this space. There will be ample time for discussion and networking, to help identify and build multidisciplinary collaborations.
The day will conclude with public engagement activities and a lecture from Prof Frank Møller Aarestrup from the Technical University of Denmark, a pioneer in the links between antibiotic use in animals and the impacts on human health.
