The calls from the IVVN for Laboratory Exchange Award applications and IVVN Pump-Priming Grant applications are now open. The deadline for all applications is Monday 15 April 2019.

Laboratory Exchange Awards

Laboratory Exchange Awards of up to £10,000 are available for IVVN members to facilitate transfer of technological experience between laboratories in the Network and/or allow specialised proof-of-concept pieces of work to be conducted by IVVN members.

These awards will cover travel, accommodation and laboratory consumables, and will be awarded via competitive application to the IVVN Network Management Board.

Applicants must be members of the IVVN, and we particularly welcome applications from members who are Early Career Researchers and/or based in LMICs and/or female researchers.

Pump-Priming Grants

Pump-priming grants of up to £100,000 are available to allow IVVN members to accelerate their vaccine research, in order to improve vaccine development for livestock diseases in low-and-middle income countries (LMICs).

Pump-priming projects should aim to address a key bottleneck preventing the development of a vaccine, and will be awarded via competitive application to the IVVN Network Management Board.

Applicants must be members of the IVVN, and we particularly welcome applications from members who are Early Career Researchers and/or based in LMICs and/or female researchers.

Please note all applications must contain a UK-based applicant.
