Pakistan

Postgraduate entry requirements for students from Pakistan.

For entry to most University of Edinburgh postgraduate degrees, students will need a HEC-recognised 4-year Bachelor Degree with a minimum grade average of 3.5/4.0GPA from an accredited higher education institution.

Applicants who are considered to have met our minimum requirements may be considered for entry and will be measured competitively against other applicants. For many of our programmes, competition is high and the equivalent to a First-Class degree may be required. Certain programmes will also have specific requirements in terms of both the overall degree result and strengths in particular subjects which are seen as relevant to that degree. Please note that where both a GPA score and a percentage score are provided, the GPA score will be used to assess an applicant’s eligibility.
