Postgraduate entry requirements by region

Macau-SAR China

Postgraduate entry requirements for students from Macau.

To meet minimum entry requirements for postgraduate programmes you should have a good Bachelors degree from a recognised university in Macau. We are looking for students who have performed very well throughout their degree; a score of GPA 3.2-3.69 or B+ from a well ranked institution is considered comparable to a UK 2.1. Note: our entry requirements for degrees from Macau universities vary depending on the university where you have studied and the course you are applying for at Edinburgh.

PhD programmes

Application to PhD study typically requires a masters degree in a related or relevant subject, and a research proposal.

However, entry requirements vary by programme, and you should check the detailed entry requirements are listed under each programme on the Degree Finder.
