Postgraduate entry requirements for students from South Africa.
For entry to most Postgraduate Taught or Research degrees, the minimum requirement is a good Bachelor’s degree with honours (2:1 or 65% and above) from a recognised university.
The grades listed above should be treated as a general guide. Each application is considered individually and you are advised to contact the relevant College Office for further information on admissions.
Application to PhD study typically requires a masters degree in a related or relevant subject, and a research proposal.
However, entry requirements vary by programme, and you should check the detailed entry requirements are listed under each programme on the Degree Finder.
English Language requirements
All applicants are required to demonstrate a level of English language competency, regardless of their nationality or country of residence. These requirements are listed by programme.
