We say goodbye to Lynn Morrice and welcome to Wendy Inglis-Humphrey as Centre Manager

Goodbye Lynn

Lynn Morrice, who has been Centre Manager with the Asthma UK Centre for Applied Research since 2014, has moved on to a new role.

Lynn was tireless in her efforts in the leadership of the Centre, ensuring its renewal in order to continue our commitment to improve the lives of people with asthma.

We send out an enormous thank you to Lynn and wish her well in her new position.

Welcome Wendy!

We’re pleased to welcome Wendy Inglis Humphrey to the team.

Wendy, who will be based at the University of Edinburgh, joins us as Centre Manager. She brings with her a wealth of research management, partnership building and operational delivery experience, most notably through the Scottish Genomes Partnership, the Medical Research Council and innovation foundation, Nesta.

With Wendy’s focus on innovation and programme development, she will help drive the Asthma UK Centre for Applied Research to achieve its vision of improving the prevention and management of asthma attacks.

Wendy said,

“I am looking forward to working with the Asthma UK Centre for Applied Research team, including researchers, patients and healthcare professionals, across the UK. By sharing knowledge and solving problems together, today’s research will lead to innovation in the delivery of asthma-related healthcare and directly improve health outcomes.”
