Information about you: how we use it and with whom we share it
The information you provide will be used by the Asthma UK Centre for Applied Research (AUKCAR) to inform you of opportunities to get involved in research carried out in the centre or to send you information about AUKCAR activities or news.
We are using information about you because you have given us your consent.
We will hold the personal data you have provided us in a password protected file on a secure server at the University of Edinburgh until you withdraw your consent for us to process your personal data. Only authorised staff on the Patient and Public Involvement Team, will have access to this database. Your contact details are not passed to any researchers unless we have specific permission from you and you have indicated you would like a researcher to contact you in relation to a project.
We do not use profiling or automated decision-making processes.
