Temporary extra study spaces
Need a space to revise? Additional space will be available.
April - May 2024
Libraries and study centres experience their peak demand in the lead up to and during the exam periods.
Temporary extra study spaces are being made available ahead of and during the examination period to relieve some of the pressure.
The Law Library and New College Library will also extend their opening hours.
Extended Opening Hours
Law Library
From 14.04.24 - 19.05.24 Law Library will extend its opening hours on Sundays to a 19:00 close

Exams in Open Access Computer Labs
Hugh Robson Building basement computer lab will be unavailable on the following dates duet to exams

Notes on study space offering in temporary locations
If for any reason you require additional support, including in the event of an evacuation, we recommend you use a permanent study site such as one of our libraries.
Due to the temporary nature of these study spaces, we cannot offer the same service provision as our permanent offerings:
- Power supply is currently only guaranteed at LG07 at 40 George Square
- All other locations have limited or no power supply
- Lower levels of staffing
Please be considerate in how you use the temporary study spaces
- Take care as to not put yourself or others at risk by engaging in unsafe behaviours e.g. trailing cables across circulation routes
- Use spaces respectfully by being considerate of other users and tidying up after yourself when leaving
