PhD candidate in Population Health Sciences

Biography

Carol is a part-time PhD candidate in Population Health Sciences. Her work examines patient public involvement (PPI) in research.

Carol also works as a Patient Public Involvement Lead in Clinical Sciences, having worked in PPI in research for many years she is passionate about PPI and about exploring the values and value in PPI activities. She has held a variety of positions including PPI Advisor at UCL,  PPI Lead for the Research Design Service London, based at King’s College London and worked in clinical trials at Moorfields Eye Hospital’s Biomedical Research Centre.
