Browse the programme of activities for the Postgraduate Open Day.

Day Overview

The Postgraduate Open Day includes lots of opportunities to interact with our students and staff, within a range of activities. All of these are optional - you can attend all of them or just to some as your prefer.  The majority of the central talks are 20 minutes, leaving you 10 minutes to get to your next venue.  There will be refreshment from 9:00 - 17:00 at McEwan Hall and the Informatics Forum.

If possible, please have your Eventbrite ticket on a smartphone or tablet on the day to show to us at the Informatics Forum when you arrive. You're welcome to bring a paper copy if this is easier but we'd like to save on paper! If you forget your ticket, don't worry, we can find your booking on the day.

Accommodation Tours

An opportunity to visit postgraduate  accommodation. A Student Ambassador will lead you to the Accommodation and staff will be on hand to show you around.

Sports and Exercise Tours

An opportunity to visit our state of the art facilities. A Student Ambassador will you to the Pleasance Gym and there will be self guided tours.

George Square Campus Tours

A current student will led you around the George Square Campus. The tour lasts an hour.

17:00 - 18:30 Unwind at the end of the day at our informal  reception. Continue your discussions with our staff and students, and compare notes with other prospective applicants. Informatics Forum

School Visits

You will have an opportunity to visit your school of interest between 12:00 - 15:00, where you will have an opportunity to meet Academics, Support Staff and current students. Lunch will be provided. For more information about your school visits please see below:
