Online learning is a way of studying for a high-quality, internationally recognised postgraduate qualification – including LLM, MPH, MScMVetSci, PgDip and PgCert – at your own pace and without needing to attend classes on campus.

Our Online Learning Open Days comprise a programme of online sessions that will help you find out all you need to know about studying online. Sessions take a range of formats, from interactive presentations to online chat rooms and live question-and-answer sessions.

Join us for the opportunity to ask any questions you may have about studying online at the University of Edinburgh from those who know best, our staff and current students.

Sessions will run online through Blackboard Collaborate, so you can access them from wherever you are. Whether you're on the other side of the world, or are just round the corner, all you need is a stable internet connection to take part.

Sessions include:

  • Subject area talks;
  • Online learning: what is it like to study online;
  • 'Hear from our students' panel session;
  • Careers support for online learners;
  • How to make an effective postgraduate application;
  • Library: accessing online resources;
  • And much more!
